❱❱ When and where is the Florida Behavioral Health Conference?

Save the dates for August 16-18, 2017 in Orlando, Florida.  Exhibitors will arrive on August 15 for display set-up. This year’s host hotel and conference center is located at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. The conference is co-hosted by The Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association and the Florida Council for Community Mental Health, in collaboration with the Florida Hospital Association.

How do I register for the Conference?

Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

Yes. Online registrants will receive email confirmation via email. Faxed and emailed registrations will receive confirmation via email once they are processed.

How will I get my registration materials?

Registration materials will be available for pick up at the conference registration desks located in the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Conference Center.
Handouts are not provided in workshop rooms, but you can download materials after the conference concludes from our conference website or app.

What is the conference dress code?

Dress is business casual for daytime events. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring a sweater for chilly meeting rooms.

What is your EXHIBITOR cancellation policy?

Requests for cancellations or reductions of sponsorship, exhibitor space, or advertisements must be emailed or faxed to the Florida Behavioral Health Conference at rroberts@bhcon.org or 850.878.6584 on or before July 14, 2017. An administrative fee of $100 will be deducted from all refund requests received by Friday, July 14, 2017. If the request is received after July 14, 2017, the sponsors, exhibitor, or advertiser is obligated to pay for the purchase in full.  No refunds will be given for cancellations or reductions of space received after Friday, July 14, 2017.

What is your REGISTRATION cancellation policy?

Requests for cancellations must be emailed or faxed to the Florida Behavioral Health Conference at registration@bhcon.org or 850.878.6584. A service fee of $35 will be deducted from all refund requests received by Friday, July 14, 2017. Registrants who do not cancel by Friday, July 14, 2017 and do not attend will be responsible for the full registration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after Friday, July 14, 2017.

Registrants unable to attend the conference may send an alternate. Substitution requests must be emailed or faxed to the 2017 Florida Behavioral Health Conference at registration@bhcon.org or 850.878.6584. A service fee of $20 will be charged for each substitution. Faxed substitutions must be received by July 31, 2017. Participant or organization will be responsible for the fee.

What are workshops?

Workshops are 1.5 hour sessions held August 16-17. Workshop attendance is on a first come, first served basis, so please arrive early.

Can I get Continuing Education Unit credits (CEUs) at your conference?

CEUs/Contact Hours will be available for the conference. CEUs and Contact hours are offered through the following authorities:

How many credits will I receive if I attend your conference?

Specific hours awarded will depend on the certificate type you request and whether the sessions you attend are approved for the type of continuing education you seek.

Is there an additional fee for CEUs?

No, CEUs are included in your conference registration.
